Job Summary

To ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations, the full-time remote Plan Document Analyst will draft, revise, and maintain ERISA-compliant Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and ACA-compliant Summaries of Benefits and Coverages while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Develops and maintains Plan Documents and amendments, ensuring timely approval from the Plan Administrator
  • Analyzes and resolves issues reported by users and collaborates with Legal to address compliance concerns
  • Maintains electronic storage of Plan Documents and provides support to the Benefit Team and internal staff
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Business, Healthcare Management, or related field, or five years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years' experience in writing documentation or instructional materials
  • Minimum of three years' analysis and/or research experience
  • In-depth knowledge of managed care, health insurance, or third-party administrative services
  • Project Management experience preferred
