Job Summary
To ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations, the full-time remote Plan Document Analyst will draft, revise, and maintain ERISA-compliant Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions, and ACA-compliant Summaries of Benefits and Coverages while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and maintains Plan Documents and amendments, ensuring timely approval from the Plan Administrator
- Analyzes and resolves issues reported by users and collaborates with Legal to address compliance concerns
- Maintains electronic storage of Plan Documents and provides support to the Benefit Team and internal staff
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Business, Healthcare Management, or related field, or five years of relevant experience
- Minimum of three years' experience in writing documentation or instructional materials
- Minimum of three years' analysis and/or research experience
- In-depth knowledge of managed care, health insurance, or third-party administrative services
- Project Management experience preferred
