Plant Takeoff Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Plant Takeoff Specialist to generate detailed scopes of materials for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project schedules and analyze specifications and plans to identify issues
• Perform detailed material takeoffs and ensure accuracy before releasing to Project Manager
• Communicate with Project Managers and engineers to resolve issues and update project data as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in material takeoffs for Waterworks materials
• Working knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, and materials relevant to the waterworks industry
• Familiarity with construction documents, including plans, specifications, and project management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with estimating software is a plus
