Platform Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and support of the BigID platform and internally developed applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the BigID platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security
• Provide administration and support for internally developed applications, collaborating with development teams for updates
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications while implementing security best practices

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
• 5-8 years of experience with upgrading vendor products, preferably data governance tools
• 8+ years of understanding of system administration and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
• 8+ years of knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud
