Platform Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting a hybrid infrastructure environment, the full-time remote Platform Administrator will manage Windows Server OS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, focusing on OS-level troubleshooting, system performance analysis, and security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining and monitoring applications to ensure performance and availability
• Resolving escalated issues related to platform applications and coordinating with third-party vendors as necessary
• Participating in an on-call rotation and adjusting schedules for maintenance and upgrades outside of standard business hours

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (4 years)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a platform/release support role
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9)
• Familiarity with automation scripting tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid cloud and traditional datacenter environment
