Platform Architect

Job Summary

Leading the architecture and evolution of a secure hybrid cloud platform, the full-time Platform Architect will define platform standards and architect Azure and Kubernetes-based services while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture of a hybrid cloud platform using Azure and Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and security
• Define reusable platform services and engineering standards for consistent deployment across multiple classification levels
• Establish Infrastructure as Code and automated platform provisioning to enhance developer productivity

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience architecting and building enterprise cloud platforms using Azure and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or a related discipline
• Current CKA, CKS, or CKAD certification; Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is a plus
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform and Bicep, as well as CI/CD practices
• Active Secret clearance
