Platform Capacity Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on infrastructure capacity management in FedRAMP accredited environments, the full-time Platform Capacity Engineer will develop capacity models, manage virtualization and orchestration, and optimize container allocations to ensure resource availability across North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing capacity models for Netskope's NewEdge Dataplane infrastructure
• Managing OpenStack capacity modeling and virtual machine allocation
• Leading Kubernetes capacity modeling and collaborating with service owners for optimal pod allocations

Required Qualifications

• Experience with OpenStack, KVM Hypervisors, and Kubernetes, along with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Strong background in automation using coding languages such as Python
• Ability to effectively communicate requirements and drive solutions across teams
• US Citizenship due to the requirements of working within a FedRAMP High certified environment
