Platform Consultant - Technology Risk

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Platform Consultant - Technology Risk in a fully remote, senior-level role, the candidate will guide engineering teams through complex technical challenges, implement secure-by-design principles, and articulate security posture to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consultant to engineering teams, guiding secure platform design and implementation
• Embed secure-by-design principles and threat modeling practices into the development lifecycle
• Lead the ideation and implementation of innovative security controls to enhance embedded security maturity

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform development, or architecture roles with technical leadership responsibilities
• Expert-level knowledge of Agile/XP and DevOps methodologies, including TDD and CI/CD automation
• Hands-on expertise in architecting large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Broad technical proficiency across multiple programming languages, particularly Java and JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of industry security frameworks and web/API security standards
