Platform Data Engineer
Job Summary
To architect, deploy, and operate the core data infrastructure and platform services, the full-time remote Platform Data Engineer will manage platform tooling, implement infrastructure-as-code, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring the reliability and performance of the analytics ecosystem.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling, including Airflow and Superset, in production environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments
- Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience
- Advanced Python programming skills (5+ years)
- Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration
- Cloud platform expertise across AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
