Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer I to join their Engineering team and support foundational infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal platform tools and services
• Monitor and respond to issues in production systems, troubleshooting and resolving incidents
• Write documentation for tools, systems, and processes while collaborating with senior engineers on upgrades and optimizations

Required Qualifications

• Programming experience in any high-level language
• Proficiency working in a cloud environment (AWS)
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes
• Completion of a 4-year degree in engineering or computer science
• Knowledge of common databases and best practices
