Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer 2 to enhance the resilience of its platforms across data centers and the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure VMware VDI environment
• Monitor and optimize virtual desktop pools for performance and user experience
• Lead infrastructure migration to resilient on-premises and cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable
• Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware and/or Citrix products
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, and routing protocols
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework, including change and incident management
• Experience installing and configuring Dell systems; Cisco UCS experience is a plus
