Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain their platform while addressing insider risk challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize microservices for speed and scalability, ensuring robust data pipeline performance
• Implement and manage containerization technologies like Podman and Kubernetes for efficient platform deployment
• Write high-quality Python code and design features for big data analytics, focusing on system security and data protection

Qualifications/Attributes:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of software development experience
• In-depth experience with OpenSearch or ElasticSearch
• Proficiency in Python or another functional/OO language with a history of delivering impactful software
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or GCP) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.)
• Familiarity with Django, PostgreSQL, or other SQL databases
