Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions
• Set up, maintain, and improve monitoring and alerting systems, leading incident response and troubleshooting efforts
• Develop and implement automation projects to streamline platform tasks and manage infrastructure configuration using IaC tools

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 8+ years of industry experience, including roles as a Software Engineer, SRE, or Platform Engineer
• At least 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or infrastructure roles in large-scale environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Go) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
