Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer who will contribute to transformative technology in the supply chain industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and align backend, frontend, platform, and infrastructure decisions into a coherent architecture
• Lead efforts to improve scalability and reliability while retiring technical debt
• Modernize and scale existing production systems using database-level strategies and platform primitives

Required Qualifications

• Mastery of performance-sensitive REST APIs and core distributed systems concepts
• Expert-level experience with PostgreSQL and advanced SQL
• Deep experience with Azure and/or AWS and production-grade Kubernetes/Docker
• Strong production experience in Node.js and/or Python
• Hands-on experience with observability, CI/CD, and security hygiene
