Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning and evolving the systems that connect cloud platforms to physical environments, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will manage AWS infrastructure, maintain Kubernetes health, and build observability tools while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance AWS infrastructure with a focus on uptime, cost efficiency, and deployment safety
• Build and maintain observability dashboards and telemetry pipelines to improve operational visibility
• Support distributed Linux-based hardware in the field and develop automation for configuration management

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, site reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
• Strong Linux fundamentals, particularly in Ubuntu and Debian environments
• Proven experience with Kubernetes, including troubleshooting and resource management
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD practices
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TLS, and load balancing
