Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a mission-driven team remotely, the full-time Platform Engineer will design and maintain secure AWS GovCloud infrastructure, implement container orchestration strategies, and enable rapid software delivery through modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure AWS GovCloud infrastructure, including VPCs and security controls
• Build and maintain Docker containers for backend services, ensuring deployment consistency
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and engineer CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles
• Proven track record of building secure, scalable infrastructure for mission-critical applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud environments
• Strong understanding of FedRAMP compliance requirements
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform/OpenTofu
