Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Navy Delivery team, the remote Platform Engineer will innovate and solve complex technical problems, demonstrate technical skills across multiple domains, and influence strategic vision while collaborating with application teams and platform teams.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Demonstrate expertise in 1-2 key technologies, contributing to the team's technical excellence
- Facilitate communication and advocate best practices between application and platform teams
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack application development, CI/CD, GitOps, or Kubernetes
- Strong programming skills and familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with infrastructure as code and building/maintaining Kubernetes clusters
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification
- U.S. citizenship required due to government contracting
