Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, manage CI/CD tooling, and collaborate across teams to enhance the developer experience for a federal enterprise cloud platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) to support hosted applications and improve developer experience
• Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) modules for standardized, compliant provisioning
• Provision and operate Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) infrastructure and maintain CI/CD tooling and pipelines

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for education
• Proficiency with at least one infrastructure-as-code tool, preferably Terraform
• Background in DevOps concepts: containerization, networking, virtualization, and CI/CD
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust/suitability determination
