Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely as a full-time contractor, the Platform Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business needs
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues to ensure high availability and performance
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
