Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Platform Engineer will focus on distributed systems, AWS infrastructure, and improving platform reliability and performance while managing production debugging and billing system integrations.

Key responsibilities:

• Enhancing platform reliability and performance across distributed systems operating at scale
• Investigating production incidents and optimizing database performance and queries
• Supporting billing systems and identity authentication solutions, including SAML and SCIM

Required qualifications:

• Experience working on distributed systems in production environments
• Strong fundamentals in AWS and debugging across infrastructure, databases, and application code
• Proficiency in Python and strong database experience
• Sound engineering judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity
• A focus on building effective solutions over perfect solutions
