Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a robust technical foundation, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable backend services and data pipelines while enhancing system performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable backend services and data pipelines
• Work across AWS cloud infrastructure to ship and maintain production systems
• Automate manual processes and improve the performance and observability of owned systems

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of backend or data engineering experience with strong Python or similar language skills
• Hands-on experience building and operating production systems on AWS
• Experience designing reliable, scalable data pipelines or backend services
• Solid SQL and data fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
