Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Platform Engineer, the ideal candidate will manage cloud and cluster technologies, stateful backend services, and observability tools to enhance developer experience and platform security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage underlying cloud and cluster technologies that compose the internal platform
• Oversee stateful backend services, including databases and Bitcoin/LN nodes
• Utilize and extend observability tools for logging, monitoring, and tracing

Required qualifications

• Strong foundations in Linux, networking, security, cloud, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production
• Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, Python, or Rust
• Familiarity with advanced cloud technologies like GitOps and DevSecOps
• Knowledge of database administration, particularly with PostgreSQL or etcd
