Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Mid-level Platform Engineer will manage day-to-day operations, partner with teams to safeguard IT assets from cyber threats, and maintain enterprise security applications and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of IT and enterprise-class security applications and systems
• Troubleshoot and manage Linux and Windows server operating systems and enterprise applications
• Deploy, optimize, and maintain enterprise security applications across various platforms

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a large enterprise environment with a focus on change management
• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role
• Strong understanding of Linux (Centos, Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Windows server operating systems
• Basic scripting ability in languages such as Ansible, Python, or PowerShell
