Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Operations Command Centre, the full-time Platform Engineer I will manage production operations, participate in major incident response, and develop automation and observability tools while working in a hybrid environment from Coppell, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and lead major incident management to restore production services
- Develop automation tools and internal engineering solutions to enhance platform reliability and developer productivity
- Design and implement observability metrics and alerts to improve platform visibility and operational performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related technical roles
- Strong Linux fundamentals and familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform
- Basic scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Exposure to production support or Major Incident Management with strong analytical skills
