Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Platform Engineer, the candidate will manage and enhance cloud-based platform environments, focusing on Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with application teams to ensure system reliability and security.
Key responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes clusters and containerized application deployments across cloud environments
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent platform resource provisioning
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated build and deployment workflows are efficient and effective
Required qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying and managing clusters
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitLab CI or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line administration
- US citizenship required; must be eligible for CUI access
