Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance a cloud-based platform environment, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will manage Kubernetes clusters, develop infrastructure as code, and optimize CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with application teams to ensure platform reliability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes clusters and containerized application deployments across cloud environments
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent provisioning and configuration of platform resources
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI configuration and automated workflows
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing clusters and workloads
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitLab CI or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line administration
- US citizenship required; must be eligible for CUI access
