Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Platform Engineer, the full-time role will focus on developing, maintaining, and ensuring the reliability of a cloud-based platform environment, utilizing Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code while collaborating with application teams.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes clusters and containerized application deployments across cloud environments
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and configure platform resources consistently
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI configuration and automated deployment workflows
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing clusters and workloads
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitLab CI or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line administration
- US citizenship required; must be eligible for CUI access
