Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Platform Engineer II will automate cloud resources, implement developer tooling, and enhance product manageability while collaborating with product engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Automate cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform and manage the software platform, including Kubernetes and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with product engineers to identify and address observability gaps, improving developer experience and operational performance
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and perform blameless root-cause analysis to maintain system reliability
Required qualifications
- Proficiency with GCP or other cloud platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or CircleCI
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
