Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure platforms, the full-time remote Platform Engineer will develop and improve platform capabilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage the technical aspects of the platform services lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy platform capabilities and APIs in collaboration with designers and product managers
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and enhance monitoring frameworks to improve system performance and service availability
- Take responsibility for all technical aspects of platform services, including code, infrastructure, data, and security
Required qualifications
- Experience with object-oriented development using Java, Go, or Python
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud computing concepts
- Proficiency in using Git for source code version control
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Background in software development and infrastructure platform development
