Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance cloud infrastructure, the full-time Platform Engineer will manage AWS services, implement observability and monitoring solutions, and automate processes using Infrastructure as Code while working onsite in Las Vegas, NV.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain core AWS services, including VPC, EC2, S3, and security compliance tools
- Develop and configure observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, and Open Telemetry
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Shell scripting
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including Transit Gateway and Direct Connect
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
