Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, the remote Platform Engineer will create self-service tooling, automate infrastructure operations, and enhance the developer experience within a leading technology organization.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud-native platform infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and AWS services
- Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to streamline provisioning and platform operations
- Create and enhance self-service tools and platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deploy applications efficiently
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related infrastructure roles
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux administration in production environments
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills with distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure technologies
