Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Owning core platform infrastructure, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will build and maintain tooling and abstractions for product engineers, advance observability, and support GCP infrastructure work in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own pieces of core platform infrastructure, including Terraform migration and CI/CD pipelines
• Build and maintain tooling that allows product engineers to ship and run their own code efficiently
• Advance observability foundations and standardize monitoring and alerting for business and financial operations metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or backend engineering with significant infrastructure ownership
• Experience building or maturing internal developer tooling and CI/CD systems
• Direct experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) in production, including infrastructure-as-code
• Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
