Platform Engineer (AWS/DevOps)

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Platform Engineer (AWS/DevOps) will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services within AWS, while automating deployments and managing infrastructure for a telecommunications client.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services within AWS
• Build backend services, APIs, and microservices that support platform capabilities
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or Full Stack Development
• Strong hands-on experience building applications and services in AWS
• Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, or microservices
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, C#, or similar)
