Platform Engineer, FinOps

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer, FinOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve scalable cost ingestion pipelines focused on AWS Cost and Usage Report
• Build and maintain advanced dashboards using Amazon QuickSight for clear insights
• Support the modeling and tracking of Savings Plans and Reserved Instances for cost optimization

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, preferably with AWS
• Proven experience in delivering cost optimization or cloud governance impact
• Proficiency in Python for automation and AWS SDK interactions
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes (EKS)
