Platform Engineer II - AI
Job Summary
To support the design and deployment of AI solutions, the contract Platform Engineer II - AI Enablement will work remotely or in Memphis, focusing on developing AI infrastructure and applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of AI infrastructure and applications, including backend systems and API integrations
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure and scalable AI solutions in line with enterprise standards
- Develop APIs, automation scripts, and data pipelines to enhance AI platform scalability and data integration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering with a focus on AI
- Experience building backend applications and APIs (REST/GraphQL/gRPC) or developing user-facing AI applications
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, etc.) or cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript, etc.)
