Platform Engineer III

Job Summary

As a technical contributor, the full-time remote Platform Engineer III will manage and evolve API Gateway integration platforms at enterprise scale, ensuring intelligent automated integration and driving innovation within the API ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advance API integration platforms and related infrastructure components, including software upgrades and performance monitoring
• Guide and mentor junior engineers while setting operational excellence standards
• Analyze and refine API definition standards to support scalable and reliable integration solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years of relevant technical and business experience in IT systems delivery, preferably in healthcare or high-transaction environments
• 3+ years of experience in technical engineering efforts involving implementation and management of IT systems
• Hands-on experience with API Gateway management, HTTP integration, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm)
• Experience with AWS services and observability tools (preferably Splunk, New Relic)
