Platform Engineer IV

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer IV (EKS & Observability) to manage the infrastructure backbone of U.S. healthcare transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Kubernetes (EKS/Istio) control plane at enterprise scale
• Lead tooling and support for observability and logging with a focus on reliability
• Oversee EC2 application deployment pipelines and other mission-critical internal platforms in AWS

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7-10 years of relevant technical and business experience in IT systems delivery, operations, and support
• 3+ years of experience leading technical engineering efforts involving IT systems management
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes/EKS administration and AWS services
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk and New Relic
