Platform Engineer Lead

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time salaried Platform Engineer Lead will provide technical leadership for the ServiceNow IT Service Management engineering team, focusing on the design, development, and continuous improvement of platform capabilities while mentoring engineers and managing Agile delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the ITSM Platform engineering team in developing ServiceNow solutions
• Manage releases, production support, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Promote Agile DevOps principles and engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications:

• Four-year degree in computer programming, systems analysis, or related field, or seven years of practical experience in an engineering role
• Solid experience with ServiceNow systems and modules
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python
• Understanding of the DevSecOps model and Agile methodologies
• Experience mentoring others and managing multiple tasks effectively
