Platform Engineer, Networking
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Platform Engineer specializing in Edge & Networking, this remote position will design, build, and operate robust systems for global traffic distribution, API gateway management, and load balancing while ensuring high availability and low latency across infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement Supabase's global edge router platform and maintain the Supabase Cloud offering
- Build programmable, API-driven routing logic and optimize routing performance across cloud regions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions and participate in incident response and post-incident reviews
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure
- 4+ years of experience building and operating high-scale networking or edge infrastructure
- Strong experience with HTTP, TCP/IP, TLS certificate management, and global routing
- Proficiency with traffic proxies/routers and strong software engineering skills in Go
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and managing large deployments on cloud platforms
