Platform Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

To support the Navy Delivery team, the remote Platform Engineer with Security Clearance will innovate solutions, demonstrate technical expertise across various domains, and influence strategic vision while managing platform development and maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement innovative solutions to complex technical problems
• Demonstrate expert knowledge in key technologies such as full-stack application development, CI/CD, and Kubernetes
• Facilitate communication between application teams and platform teams, advocating best practices

Required qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
• Proficiency in 1-2 key technologies including AWS, Go, or Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud-native technology deployments
• Familiarity with security automation and architecture security design
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews and pairing
