Platform Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Engineering Lead specializing in Kubernetes and Observability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team focused on Kubernetes platform operations and observability services
• Drive modernization of container infrastructure and oversee the evolution of observability platforms
• Implement automation for environment provisioning and optimize platform scalability and cloud spend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in infrastructure, systems engineering, or DevOps roles, including 3+ years in a technical lead capacity
• Deep hands-on experience managing Kubernetes (EKS) environments at enterprise scale
• Solid background with AWS services, Terraform, Helm, and Linux systems administration
• Strong familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana
