Platform Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to support and manage an AWS-based internal developer platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the platform and its microservices, including issue analysis and code fixes
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure services, applying security patches and optimizing resources
• Monitor platform health and coordinate with development teams on enhancements and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, Lambda, EC2, and S3
• Proven experience supporting production applications on AWS infrastructure
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) and containerization (Docker, ECS)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git version control
• Development experience with Python, PHP, and familiarity with API integration patterns is advantageous
