Platform Release Governance Engineer

Job Summary

To support the transformation of release governance, the full-time remote Principal Platform & Release Governance Engineer will define and automate release readiness standards, design a maturity-based release framework, and eliminate manual approval processes through engineered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise release readiness standards and a maturity-based release model
• Design and scale standardized CI/CD pipelines with automated security and compliance controls
• Analyze release-related incidents to convert pain points into automation and improve operational signals

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing or operating enterprise-scale CI/CD and release systems
• Demonstrated experience in transforming governance-heavy processes into automated mechanisms
• Proven ability to define and implement technical standards across multiple teams
• Deep expertise in policy-as-code and automated compliance controls
• Experience with safe deployment patterns at scale
