Platform Reliability Lead

Job Summary

To ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of the Fluent Commerce Order Management (OMS) platform, the temporary remote Platform Reliability Lead will manage automation-first operational excellence, troubleshoot complex production issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated remediation solutions to improve platform resiliency and reduce manual operational effort
• Serve as the highest level technical escalation point for complex production incidents, leading Root Cause Analysis and developing corrective actions
• Act as the primary technical liaison among engineering, architecture, and product teams, ensuring operational considerations are integrated into product design

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Order Management Systems or high-volume SaaS applications
• Demonstrated success in implementing operational automation and leading technical production support teams
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python for automation and API integrations
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic
