Platform Security Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Platform Security Engineer to join their Information Security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure cloud environments by collaborating with Engineering and DevOps to design and maintain secure architectures
- Drive cloud security and standards management through vulnerability and configuration management for cloud resources
- Mature CI/CD pipeline security by integrating automated security testing and managing security practices
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in security engineering, DevOps, IT, or software development
- Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers, including Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Background in cloud identity and access management services
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and ability to write automation scripts
- Aware of security threats, controls, and frameworks relevant to cloud and application environments
