Platform SoC Debug Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the validation and debug efforts for EPYC and AI server platforms, the full-time salaried Platform SoC Debug Lead Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and ensure quality standards are met in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead debugging efforts for high-speed data center I/O and RAS features, ensuring efficient issue resolution
• Collaborate with partner organizations to perform root cause analysis for platform and SoC issues
• Manage technical issues, risks, and priorities while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders

Required qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of server platform components and complex CPU architectures
• Proficiency in C, Python, and shell scripting for low-level development and debug
• Experience with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
• Knowledge of BMC firmware features and pre-silicon environments is a plus
