Platform SoC Debug Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the validation and debugging efforts for EPYC and AI server platforms, the full-time salaried Platform SoC Debug Lead Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and ensure high-quality standards in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead debugging efforts for high-speed data center I/O and RAS features to efficiently resolve program execution issues
• Collaborate with partner organizations to provide root cause analysis for platform-level and firmware issues in a data center environment
• Manage and track technical issues, risks, and priorities while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Strong understanding of server platform components and complex CPU architectures, with proficiency in Linux and/or Microsoft Operating Systems
• Expertise in I/O interfaces such as PCIe, CXL, and RAS for comprehensive system-level test-plan execution
• Experience with computer system design, validation, and testing tools
• Proficiency in C, Python, and shell scripting for low-level development and debugging
• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related major, with 12+ years of applicable experience
