Platform Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Support Engineer to provide technical support for IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues with large-scale enterprise applications in collaboration with stakeholders and vendors
• Perform application performance tuning, scaling, and ensure connectivity security for cloud-based infrastructure
• Run tests and troubleshoot issues while interpreting systems metrics for effective problem resolution

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience in Systems Support Engineering and Data Engineering
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Jira
• Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule
• Proficiency in application landscape architecture and deployment solutions
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure components
