Platform Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Support Engineer to support IBM Cloud Pak for Data.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve technical issues with large scale enterprise applications in collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and vendors
• Perform application performance tuning, scaling, and ensure connectivity security for cloud-based infrastructure components
• Run tests and troubleshoot issues while interpreting systems metrics for problem resolution

Required Qualifications

• Experience in systems support engineering and data engineering
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Jira
• Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule
• Proven experience with application landscape architecture and deployment solutions
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure components
