Job Summary

To support diverse communication needs, the part-time Plautdietsch Interpreter will handle on-demand phone calls between Plautdietsch and English speakers, ensuring accurate interpretation across various industries while working remotely as an independent contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to interpreting sessions and conduct interpretations in a professional manner
• Render accurate concepts and meanings while adhering to established interpretation protocols
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity throughout all interpreting sessions

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Plautdietsch and English, with understanding of cultural dynamics
• Education or work experience in language-related fields such as teaching or interpretation preferred
