Job Summary
Providing medical management for patients in behavioral health, the full-time or part-time PMHNP Licensed Nurse Practitioner will work remotely, collaborating with psychiatrists and staff to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals in various acute settings while managing direct admit orders and crisis response plans.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and staff to assess and treat patients presenting in emergency and inpatient settings
- Conduct assessments for acute suicide and violence risk, recommending appropriate levels of care
- Place direct admit orders and assist in developing Crisis Response Plans for patients
Required qualifications:
- Active PMHNP license in South Dakota, Minnesota, California, or Texas
- Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing required
- Federal DEA and/or State DEA licensure required within 9 months of hire
- Completion of state-specific certification/education within initial and renewal time periods
